This is a pale yellow wine, that is light bodied, and has steely acidity. On the nose, citrus aromas are instantly recognized, with some nectarine influence. There is an herbaceous nature to the bouquet, combined with some softness of honey suckle. On the palate, some floral and citrus notes come through with apparent minerality on the finish. Overall, this is a lively wine, that is well balanced.
Cheese: Brie & Queijo Sao Jorge. Caldo Verde (traditional portugues soup), steamed fish with straw mushrooms and lemon grass, shrimp and scallop terrine with tarragon aioli, and chicken salad with green apples and walnuts.
