This is a garnet red wine, that is full-bodied, has medium acidity, bold tannins and a long finish. On the nose, vanilla and nutmeg spice are immediately detected, along with some toastiness and cedar. Strawberry and raspberry fruit characteristics are also expressed in the bouquet. On the palate, vanilla spice continues to dominate, with some leathery and cigar box influence. Some cherry and strawberry flavours help balance the personality of the wine. Overall, the wine is velvety on the plate, has a delicate character, and is ready to drink.
