This is a brick coloured wine, that has a medium to full body, vibrant tannins, medium acidity and a lasting finish. On the nose, some attractive aromas including ripened strawberries, cedar, and dark cocoa are present. There is also an underlining bouquet of clove spice and even violets that add a lovely complexity to the wine. Dark cherries, plums, strawberries and chocolate are prominent on the palate, along with some baking spices, rosemary, and earthy elements. Overall, this wine is at its prime to drink, and well structured.
