During this unprecedented and challenging time, we at Macedo Winery and Macedo U-Vin are monitoring the Covid-19 global crisis daily.  We are following and adhering to the advice of Public Health Agency of Canada, the provincial and federal government.

Store Operations and Social Distancing Practices:

• We have increase sanitizing and cleaning of all areas of our stores and offices
• Communicating daily with our staff on updates from Public Health guidelines and providing our employees with proper tools to new developments
• Instructing staff to stay home if they have symptoms or feel unwell. Also, empowering managers to send employees home if they feel or look unwell
• All staff must wear protective gear, i.e. gloves and face mask, at all times and must keep 6 feet apart from customers
• All staff must properly wash hands on a regular basis, especially in between customers
• Limiting the amount of customers in the store
• Our staff will be removing merchandise off the shelves on behalf of our customers
• Affixed graphical floor decals to keep customers 6 feet apart
• We have implemented curbside pickup, when placing an order over the phone thru Macedo Winery and customers who are picking up their existing wine orders from Macedo U-Vin
• Our front doors have posted signs advising customers who feel unwell or who have traveled to self isolate

Suspended Services Until Further Notices

• Suspended in-store wine tasting at both facilities
• Suspended public and private tours at both facilities
• Suspended in-store events
• Macedo U-Vin has suspended all new orders for their ferment on premise facility. Clients are only able to pick up their existing orders
• Clients who wish to bottle their wine at Macedo U-Vin ferment on premise facility, must call and book in advance. On the day of bottling, clients must drop off bottles inside at a designated area and from a far distance, watch our staff sterilize and packaged their order.

Reduced our stores hours

• Monday to Saturday – 9am to 6pm
• Sunday – 11am to 5pm
