This is a garnet red wine, that is med/ full bodied, with medium acidity and a sharp finish. On the nose, some eucalyptus, cedar, and coffee come through, along with some raspberry and plum. On the palate, flavours such as red cherries, clove spice, and earthy elements are revealed. Overall this wine is well structured, and has lively tannins with a balanced fruit character.
Pairings: Enjoy alongside Manchego, Pecorino Toscano, Roncal cheeses, Red meat dishes (stews, steaks, roasts) and meals that can handle the often accompanying oak flavours garnered during the aging process.
